OPEN CALL FOR NOMINATIONS FOR THE 2023 VIETNAM HUMAN RIGHTS AWARD
The Vietnam Human Rights Network (VNHRN) will receive nominations for the 2023 Vietnam Human Rights Award (VNHRA) until September 30, 2023. The VNHRA was established in 2002 and has been awarded annually to individuals or organizations in Vietnam that have made outstanding contributions to protecting and promoting human rights. GNQVN is also an opportunity for Vietnamese people around the world to show their solidarity and support for those involved in the relentless struggle for basic rights and justice for the Vietnamese people. Since its inception, 55 individuals and six organizations in Vietnam have received the award. Last year, the VNHRA was given to Poet Tran Duc Thach, Journalist Nguyen Tuong Thuy, and the Vietnam National Self-Determination Coalition. The VNHRN looks forward to receiving many worthy nominations from organizations and individuals in Vietnam and abroad. The selection results will be officially announced in the mid of November 2023.
